Coraline Essay Topics
Coraline Essay TopicsWriting a Coraline essay is easy once you know the right essay topics to use for your study of this wonderful little book. Each essay topic has a specific purpose and will vary in length depending on the grade your writing. When choosing an essay topic be sure to consider each of the following points:*Primary Material: The first thing you need to consider when determining which essay topics to use is what source you're going to use. Some of the subjects you can use are: human folklore, animal literature, mythology, and fantasy. In fact, in the essay, I have included some of my own favorite sources including: Edgar Allan Poe, Gilbert and Sullivan, Thomas Hardy, Jack London, Franz Kafka, and Ernest Hemingway. You might also find interesting the history of The Brothers Grimm, Little Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, and Cinderella.*Secondary Material: The second thing you need to consider is how much information you want included in your essay. While you might want to focu s more on the story in each of the essays, you still want to have some information included. It's best to leave enough time in your essay to actually talk about the major plot point of each essay. This way, you won't lose any points by having too much of your topic left out. I like to include as much information as possible in each essay I write.*Background: Finally, you want to consider what kind of tone you want to set for your essay. You may be writing a history essay or you may be writing a fantasy essay. Personally, I like to write a history essay where the focus is more on the events and characters than on the events themselves. However, that is not to say you can't write a fantasy essay where the focus is more on the fantasy than the reality. Just keep that in mind as you continue to work on your writing.A word of warning, however, about the 'research material' you will use in your essay. While most people would consider a research paper to be required reading for college stu dents, don't forget to include your own research before you begin to write. Ask yourself if you have something to add. If you're not sure where to start, I recommend doing some online research to gather information that may be relevant to your essay topic.Once you've chosen your topic and have begun writing, don't be afraid to switch up the structure of your paper based on the different genres available. For example, you may choose to write a historical essay focusing on a major figure or event in history such as Anne Boleyn, the Salem Witch Trials, or George Washington Carver. Or you could write a fantasy essay focusing on dragons, wizards, or elves. When it comes to choosing essay topics, remember that there are many places to go to find good topics. You can find lists and resources at your high school, college, or university websites, you can check out books, magazines, and even newspapers for ideas.Of course, there are even more ways to learn and help you to write your own essay. So don't stop with the tips above, keep your eyes open and you'll soon find yourself having one to write your very own masterpiece.
